|"Sedona" Makes its way to Hollywood!
The independant film "Sedona" about a quirky woman that finds herself in Sedona after a wrong turn, has impressed movie goers and film critics alike.
Writers and producers Tommy Stovall and Marc Sterling are hoping it becomes a TV series much like Northern Exposure was. They are currently showcasing their movie at it's third film festival in Hollywood this Oct 20th after rave reviews from the Sedona Film Festival in February. There is still more editing and tweaking but they are excited that this fun-loving and feed-good movie is making its way to the big boys.
The producers have already been talking to big distribution empires such as Pasidg Productions and Lantern entertainment, responsible for such movies as "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "Monster".
The Hollywood premier will be the most prestigious of them all, Stovall says, and they hope to gain much exposure from the movie fans at the Hollywood Film Festival.
The movie "Sedona" recounts an entrepreneur traveling to Phoenix from Portland, Oregon, on her 50th birthday. When she makes a wrong turn, she ends up in Sedona and finds herself stuck in the city. While in Sedona, she encounters an array of locals and visitors who help her face her demons. In the meantime, a young man and his 6-year-old son are vacationing in Sedona for some quality father and son time. The two adults meet and find they have something in common. - According to Sedona Red Rock News
